Enevate Corporation is an energy storage startup located in warm and sunny Southern California, focused on developing and delivering rechargeable Li-ion batteries with ultra-high energy densities using novel battery materials and architectures. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.

  1. Work on processes and final product design from concept to production
  2. Create and update engineering level drawings (including CAD expertise) for mechanical and electrical systems
  3. Put together drawing packages for parts, tools, jigs, and fixtures
  4. Work with outside vendors to get mock prototypes put together
  5. Work within an established ISO 9001 compliant documentation system, documenting all changes to products or processes
  6. Design, modify, maintain, and program equipment

Education/Experience – Bachelor’s degree (B. A.) from a four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Ability – Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.  Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.  Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Math Ability – Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Reasoning Ability – Ability to define problems; collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
