President & Chief Executive Officer
Brian joined Enevate in 2010 and has over 33 years of technology and leadership experience. He was previously President & CEO of D2Audio, which develops digital audio chip and software products for the consumer electronics segment. He sold the company to Intersil and was Director of D2Audio-Intersil. Prior to that, Mr. Wong served as CEO and other executive positions during his tenure with Primarion, which developed optical datacom and power management integrated circuits before being acquired by Infineon. Earlier in his career, he spent 17 years at TRW, where he managed the Mixed Signal Products Business and was responsible for the development of high performance data converters and digital transceivers. Brian has also worked at Xerox’s Microelectronics Center, where he developed integrated circuit technology. He has co-authored textbooks and papers on semiconductor technology and data converters.
Mr. Wong is a Board Director at Sarda, has served as Board Director at Kotura, Chairman of The Austin Technology Council and has served as Director of other technology companies and non-profit organizations. He is on the Advisory Board for the UC Davis ECE Department. He holds an MS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southern California and a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles.

Executive Vice President, Marketing & Products
Jarvis has over 28 years experience in the electronics, semiconductor, wireless, and Li-ion battery industry. Prior to working with Enevate in 2008, he was Vice President and Division General Manager at CalAmp Corp. Jarvis has also held executive roles at several startups including President & COO at Apix Nanovations, Vice President at Staccato Communications, and Vice President at Silicon Wave (acquired by RFMD, and subsequently by Qualcomm), driving new Bluetooth and Ultra-Wideband solutions and working with consumer electronics and mobile handset OEMs. Previously at Intel, Jarvis co-founded the Wireless Products Operation and also held various management positions in microprocessor, personal connectivity, settop box, and mobile phone businesses. Jarvis started his career at Motorola as an IC design engineer.
Jarvis holds 3 issued patents, serves on the Engineering and Electrical Engineering Advisory Boards at the University of San Diego, and has served as Board Director of other technology companies. He holds an MBA from Arizona State University, an MS in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University, a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Michigan, and has also completed the Executive Development Program at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
Vice President, Engineering
Steve has over 26 years experience in engineering, manufacturing operations, product creation, and process development. Prior to Enevate, he was co-founder and COO of Polystor Energy Corporation in Livermore, California developing advanced Li-ion batteries. Before that, Steve was Vice President of Operations at Ultracell, a developer of portable micro fuel cells. Steve has also held senior management roles at Ener1 and EnerDel for lithium battery development and manufacturing, and at Polystor Corporation driving all aspects of manufacturing of advanced Li-ion prismatic and polymer batteries. Earlier, Steve started his career with lead positions at Procter & Gamble, and Davis Wire in various manufacturing and operational roles.
With 4 patents filed, Steve is a trained six-sigma black belt and holds a BS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign.
Vice President, Operations & Quality
Todd has over 35 years experience in engineering and manufacturing operations. His main focus over the past 20 years has been supporting Tier1 OEMs developing and transitioning their portable power needs into high volume manufacturing primarily in Mexico and China. Prior to joining Enevate in 2011, Todd was Vice President of Product Development at Powergenix and was also part of the management team in Sanyo’s battery business for 16 years. Previous to that, Todd has worked in both factory automation and advanced military design environments at General Electric, Gould Electronics, and Martin Marietta Space Systems.
Todd is trained in Six Sigma and quality system design, is a Certified Energy Manager (CEM) for facilities management, and holds degrees in both Chemistry and Chemical Engineering from the University of South Florida.
Vice President, Manufacturing Projects
Kirk has over 31 years of experience in manufacturing, operations, and general management in several industries worldwide, spanning from coated films to electronic components to photovoltaic solar cells and modules. Prior to joining Enevate, he was COO of Global Solar Energy, a manufacturer of thin-film solar products. Kirk has also held several executive management roles at KEMET Electronics over 18 years including VP of the Film & Electrolytic business group in Europe, VP of global corporate acquisition and integration activities, and general manager and director of operations in China. Previous to that, he was with Fuji Photo Film and Union Carbide in a various manufacturing and management positions.
Kirk is trained in six sigma and lean manufacturing, and holds a BS in Industrial Management with a minor in Chemistry from Purdue University.
John B. Kennedy
Chief Financial Officer
John has over 28 years of experience in finance. He joined Enevate in 2016, and brings a strong leadership history with privately held and publicly traded companies in various industries, including nearly 20 years in executive management positions.
Most recently John served as CFO at ViZn Energy Systems. Previously, he served as Chief Financial Officer for Sprocket Media and SolarBridge Technologies. Prior to that, John also served as vice president of Finance and Administration for Primarion, director of Finance for ValueClick, and began his career with KPMG. John earned a BS in finance and accounting from Elmira College in New York.
