Good day. Here is this week’s question: Does the new administration change the investment calculus for clean-tech startups?In mid-November, Bob Rango, chief executive and president of venture-backed lithium-ion battery startup Enevate Corp., told WSJ Pro Venture Capital that leading up to the election, he received increasing interest from venture firms about participating in the funding round his company is raising.“I definitely think the new administration is going to help us,” Mr. Rango said, citing the potential for the U.S. to rejoin the Paris climate agreement as the largest factor. The treaty, which aims to cap carbon-dioxide emissions, has pressured European automakers into faster adoption of electric vehicles, Mr. Rango added.
